The initiative is part of a larger effort by the SD&G Local Food Council to connect farmers, producers, processors, artisans, marketers, public health professionals, institutions, economic developers, tourism operators and you, the consumer, in a dynamic local food system.

The SD&G Local Food Council aims to improve awareness around agriculture in the region by fostering effective direct marketing campaigns, educating consumers, gathering data and promoting strategic alliances.
